Every year is a time of consolidation and concentration to dedicate and recommit ourselves to our mission and vision.
My pleasure derives from the fact that several accomplishments have been attained and the university is moving right on to accomplishing even greater attainments. The university has excelled in various academic endeavors;
In March, 2009 the University attained a charter status, thus making the University of the 5 Charted Private Universities in Uganda.
It has consolidated its academic programmes, it has refined its teaching and pedagogical approaches.
Additionally, the university has acquired several new facilities for instructional purposes such as the 7 floor lecture theatre at the main campus, an increment in the library holdings at both campuses and improved laboratory equipment and facilities at the Western Campus. 
The teaching hospital at the Western Campus is now fully functional, serving the community and providing medical students an opportunity to undertake their clinicals there.
The University enrollees at the Law Development Centre (L.D.C) has continued to performed very well in the final examinations of the bar course.
The university has also hosted several visitations from National Council and several professional bodies including the recent visitation by the National Council for Higher Education for awarding the university a Charter and Accreditation.
The university has also excelled tremendously in sports in athletics and football field.  I applaud all of you who have participated and taking part in bringing all these achievements to fruition.
The management and staff and students apply themselves to manifest the vision and marshall all energy to realize our dreams. The university staff refines and articulates the course content in a very sublime manner. The courses are quite solid, firm and are of applicative value.
The management has tied up the loose ends on several policies to make life at the institution easy to direct and guide.
