Wilson Mugizi is the Associate Director Postgraduate Directorate – Research and Innovations at the Kampala International University-Western Campus (KIU-WC). Prior to that, he was a Lecturer at KIU, and a Part-time Lecturer at both Makerere University and Bishop Stuart University.
Wilson holds a PhD in Educational Management, a Master of Arts in Educational Management, and a Bachelor of Arts with Education, all from Makerere University.
He has co-authored and co-published a number of articles in reputable journals like the Direct Research Journal of Education and Vocational Studies, the of Education Research and Rural Community Development, and the Interdisciplinary Journal of Education to mention but a few. He has also presented conference papers at the 2016 South Africa International Conference on Education, the 12th Mbarara University of Science and Technology Annual Research Dissemination Conference in 2016, and the 21st African International Management Conference of Makerere University Business School, also in 2016.
Wilson has carried out research on the Antecedents of employee commitment of academic staff in universities in Uganda, and the Motivation and work attitude of academic staff in public universities in Uganda, a case of Mbarara University of Science and Technology. He is a Member of the Academic Management Board and the Faculty of Education Appointments Board at KIU. He has also offered consultancy to international and local organisations in carrying out evaluation of projects
