KIU, Main Campus - As the country comes to terms with fighting the COVID-19 pandemic that has seen over 700,000 cases confirmed globally, and over 33,257+ deaths, KIU Alumnus Mordecai Muriisa Martin Jr., who is a news anchor at NBS, has offered advice to Ugandans.

Mordecai shared his sympathy for Ugandans who depend on their daily businesses to make a living hence finding it difficult to adhere to the presidential guidelines. However, he emphasized that they should take heed.

"I advise all Ugandans to heed to the President’s and Ministry of Health’s precautionary measures as we stand together to fight this pandemic and I’m convinced we shall defeat it," he said.

Further, he advised Ugandan law enforcement to exercise restraint as they enforce directives.
