College of Humanities and Social Sciences set to Train Post Graduate Students on Thesis Writing.

KIU, Main Campus - The Office of the Associate Dean (Research) of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Kampala International University has organised a training workshop for postgraduate students slated for the 4th, 11th, and 18th of March 2020 from 12 P.M. to 2 pP.M. in the PG1 Seminar Room at the University’s Main Campus.

The purpose of the workshop is to train students on thesis writing and publications as far as their research is concerned.

The programme will be facilitated by; Associate Dean Research, Professor Awobamise Ayodeji; Research Coordinator Development Studies, Dr Chidiebere Ogbonna; and Research Coordinator Mass Communication and Applied Psychology, Dr Joel Isabirye.

Prof. Ayodeji emphasised that "all postgraduate students should utilise this opportunity to gain skills and knowledge towards writing their thesis and publications."

Ibrahim Moumoud Mohammed, a second-year post-graduate student of Mass Communication, thanked the organisers for "coming up with a such a great initiative."

He said that this has come at such an opportune time when he happens to be working on his thesis. He hopes that such workshops and training keep happening so as to enable students to master what is expected of them.
