COVID-19 Updates: 4 new COVID-19 Cases as Uganda's Recoveries Clock 631

KIU, Main Campus - The Ministry of Health has this morning released a statement indicating that Uganda registered four new COVID-19 cases bringing the total to 774.

Two of the confirmed cases are truck drivers.  One arrived from South Sudan, via Elegu Point of Entry while one arrived from Kenya via Malaba Point of Entry. 

The other two of the confirmed cases are contacts to previously confirmed cases and alerts. One is from Amuru district and was under quarantine during the time of testing while the other is from Kyotera district. 

Currently, active cases on admission are 256 where by, 143 are Ugandans while 113 are foreigners. 

According to the press statement, Uganda now has 631 recoveries.
