COVID-19 Updates: Uganda Inches Closer to a Century Deaths With Another Fatality

KIU, Western Campus – Uganda registered another COVID-19 death from Jinja on October 20 to bring the total number of deaths to 98, according to the Ministry of Health daily COVID-19 update released last evening.

Meanwhile, a total of 145 new cases were also registered to bring the cumulative number of cases to 10,933, and they are broken down as follows; 143 contacts and alerts: Kampala (56), Obongi (24), Moyo (14), Lira (13), Buikwe (10), Iganga (5), Jinja (5), Dokolo (3), Bushenyi (2), Mbale (2), Mukono (2), Arua (1), Buvuma (1), Kisoro (1), Luwero (1), Maracha (1), Ntungamo (1), Soroti (1)

The other 2 cases are of truck drivers from Malaba Point of Entry.
