KIU Holds Orientation for August Intake Postgraduate Students

KIU Main Campus - As of 1st July 2020, the Ministry of Health announced 4 new COVID-19 in Uganda.
According to the press release, of the four cases that were confirmed, one is a truck driver who arrived from Kenya via Malaba Point of Entry and the three are contacts to previously confirmed cases.
Two of those are from Kyotera District while the other one is from Amuru District.
Initially, there were 16 foreign truck drivers (11 Kenyans, 4 Tanzanians, and 1 Congolese) but these were not allowed to enter the country.
According to the Ministry, Uganda has 837 recoveries from COVID-19 and no death recorded.
As of today, the ministry has carried out 192,872 sample tests.
