COVID-19 Updates: Uganda Registers Another COVID-19 Death as Lowest Positive Figures in Weeks are Confirmed

KIU, Western Campus – Uganda registered another COVID-19 death on October 14 – from Kole district – to bring the total number of deaths to 96, the Ministry of Health announced yesterday evening in their daily COVID-19 update.

Meanwhile, the country also registered 48 new cases, the lowest figure in weeks, bringing the cumulative number of COVID-19 positive cases to 10,117.

All the latest cases are contacts and alerts and they are broken down as follows; Kampala (18), Mukono (7), Manafwa (4), Rubanda (4), Wakiso (4), Jinja (2), Tororo (3), Abim (1), Busia (1), Kapchorwa (1), Kiryandongo (1), Kole (1) and Mbarara (1).

The country has registered 6,725 recoveries so far.
