KIU, Main Campus-KIU Titans will play on home court for the first time this year when they face off with JKL Dolphins in their final game of the first round of this NBL season on Saturday evening.

This encounter will tip off at 4:00 PM EAT and it will be graced with an ecstatic atmosphere from the home fans who have longed to see their favorite team play at home.

"Since it's a home ground, it’s always home. East or west home is the best. We have missed our home games and we haven't played quite many games at home since 2020. This is going to be a home feeling indeed," said Fahad Kyazze, the president of the KIU Basketball Fans Association.

"Fans always want to have their games at home world over. Definitely, this game means a lot to us and there are quite a number of fans who haven't watched our team playing, so getting such a big game home is a great feeling to us," he added.

The Titans have won eight games, lost only twice this season, and have never lost on home court in the last three years. They will need to beat the Dolphins to keep up with table leaders City Oilers who are yet to lose a game this season.

The fantastic home court atmosphere is one thing the boys in green have missed this season and this could be another burden for the opponents on Saturday evening.

The Titans will be boosted by the return of star man, Amisi Saidi Danny Carmelo who missed their last game when they lost to UCU Canons. Amisi Saidi Danny is the team's top scorer, averaging 15 points per game.
