KIU, MAIN CAMPUS- Pascal Natamba a former Kitara Students Association Guild President (KISA), Speaker UN Students Association, and Secretary general National Resistance Movement Students' Association describes days spent at Kampala International University (KIU) as moments filled with learning and exposure.
During the four years spent at KIU, Natamba said he has learned so much legal knowledge and as such, he has already started sharing this knowledge by giving probonal legal services to the underprivileged under an NGO dubbed Youth Alive Uganda.
Explaining why he does this particular job, Natamba said," It's to ensure that the 'poor' have the knowledge and access to legal services about land ownership, family matters to mention but a few".
Besides attaining legal knowledge, Natamba also went on to list the various skills adopted while at KIU.
"I have learnt to leave within the lowest means, leave and associate with completely new persons, be creative and innovative," he noted, adding that he advises fellow graduands not to limit themselves to what they studied but to also think widely about anything that can generate income for example; business and entrepreneurship.
Natamba will be graduating alongside several other graduands on Saturday, June 17th, 2023, during the KIU 27th graduation ceremony to be held at the main campus in Kansanga, along Ggaba road, Kampala.
Excited that this chapter of life is finally over as he walks away with a second-class upper in Bachelor's Degree in Law, an ambitious and purpose-driven Natamba looks forward to starting on a Masters Degree of Laws program right away given, taking advantage of the 50% bursary provided at the university.
