KIU Alumnus and LDC Elite Graduate Gidongo Wants to Refine the Law Sector

KIU, Main Campus- Having emerged the best student at the Law Development Center, Kampala Campus, and the third-best in Uganda at the 2021 Postgraduate Bar course graduation held on Friday June 11th, KIU Alumnus Martin Gidongo became the latest to contribute to the fledgling achievements of KIU in academia.

He is undoubtedly destined for greatness in the legal fraternity for his dreams of reshaping the law itself.

Gidongo is a hardworking, self-motivated, and result-oriented fresh Lawyer with a rare standard of integrity. He is ultimately the best definition of winning. Like all winners Gidongo has always strived for the very best in everything he does.

Apart from graduating at the top of his class at LDC Kampala campus, Gidongo was the best student in the school of law during KIU’S 21st graduation ceremony held on November 16th, 2019. He was also always the best or among the best throughout his school time reigning supreme from PLE to UACE.He was the third best student in UACE in Mbale district in 2014 with 19 points out of 20.

‘’It feels exceedingly joyous and great, more so for acquiring the post graduate diploma in legal practice,’’ Gidongo happily stated immediately after graduation on Friday.

He disclosed that a combination of several factors that include prayer, determination, sacrifice, discipline and strategic planning formed an arsenal that utilised effective time management and strategy to deliver him success. He said that one has to do things differently in order to achieve different things.

‘’If you want to achieve something different, you have to do something different,’’ Gidongo advised.
Unlike majority students, Gidongo never had to worry about the outcomes of the Bar course examination. He expected to be among the best or to come on top due to his winning strategies and it being his life-long habit.

‘’I expected to be among the best performers because of the best strategies I use. I have always been among the top performers,’’ He admitted.  

The 26 year old legal gladiator is looking forward to advancing for a Masters degree in Corporate and Commercial Law.
