KIU, Main CampusAudacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream follows Barack Obama's thoughts on different aspects of the political, social and economic climate in the United States. Using his highly impressive oratory skills, Obama brings you into his personal perspective on quite a number of things as he narrates his experiences - from his early days on the political arena to where he was at the time of writing the book - in the Senate.

The book starts from his early days on the political arena in the 1990s and then picks up from there as he tries to show where things went wrong, going back to cite examples from the '60s, '70s till the early 2000s.

Obama is honest enough to talk about his loss on his first campaign trail, and he also shares insights into how hard it is being on the political arena and being a husband and father, a young father to fairly young children.

Obama then offers solutions that he sees can mend what's wrong with the situation in the US. Perhaps, this book shows you what was in his mind years before he stood and later won the presidency of the United States of America.
