KIU, Main Campus - President Museveni will, on Thursday February 4, officially announce when or whether schools should fully or partially reopen schools for all in addition to the candidates.

The Cabinet Meeting, that sat on Monday February 1, looked at various options both the scientists and Ministry of Education officials submitted after they failed to agree on permitting all learners back to school this term.

According to Hon Judith Nabakooba Minister of Information, Communication, Technology and National Guidance, his Excellency President Kaguta Museveni will tomorrow at 8pm offer guidance on learning institutions for all.

She however, cautioned ugandans to disregard news circulating that this national address is scheduled for today Wednesday February 3.

It should be remembered that in December last year, Ministry of Health said they expect the first batch of vaccine between May and June.

Education statistics show that more than 15 million learners were sent home in March last year following the Coronavirus outbreak.

Candidate classes have since been allowed to report back, but the date of the other classes remains unclear until tomorrow when the President announces government's plan.
