KIU, Main Campus - KIU's ultimate tax rights and Justice advocates have promised to amuse their odds and make the University proud in the Inter-University interface debate championship today Thursday 2nd December 2021.

Hosted by the Center for constitutional governance, the competition runs from 1st December to 3rd December 2021 at Arch Apartments and the broadcast will be live on civic space TV daily from 9 AM to 12 PM.

KIU has been placed in group C alongside Bishop Stuart University, Mountains of the moon, and Makerere University Business School. The best two teams from each group will progress to the quarter-finals.

The topic shall be; "The foundation of every state is the education of its youth-what"s the state of Uganda's education?"

The club, through president Titus Ogutu, confirmed that Judith Muvara, Ngabirano Joanitah, and Jonathan Areeba, all students of law, will be actively representing the University in the debate championship.

President Ogutu assured the KIU fraternity that his team is in good shape, well equipped, and ready to deliver victory.

"The preparations have been good, so far all my colleagues are in good shape and equipped with all it takes to give their best and of course we expect to Win and learn but the end goal is to make KIU proud as we explore the Heights," Ogutu stated.
