Milestone Alert: KIU Engineering Teaching Staff Co-Author Book on Engineering Research and Technology

KIU, Western campus – Four members of KIU’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) have co-authored a book on  Engineering Research and Technology with a number of Engineers across the globe, titled Emerging Trends in Engineering Research and Technology Vol. 8. The book was published on August 8.

The four are Stephen Ndubuisi Nnamchi, a research administrator, Emmanuel Sangotayo Olayimika, a senior lecturer,  Osarua Osaruone Edosa and Mustapha Mundu, the Associate Dean of SEAS. All four are from the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

According to the book’s synopsis, it covers key areas of engineering and technology and other related fields including energy harvesting, electrostatics, capacitance generators, geometric design, stress design, thermal design, fabrication and insulation testing rig, optimum valve timing and engine manufacturing among others.

The book contains various material suitable for students, researchers and academicians in the field of engineering and technology according to Book Publisher International, an international publishing organization.
