KIU Main Campus -Muhaise Hussein an assistant lecturer in the school of Engineering is one of those who are graduating from KIU on Saturday 24th, April 2021. Hussein has completed his PhD Program in Management Information Systems. 

His main research interests lie in the fields of Information systems success, health informatics, ICT4D, Computer Networks, Distributed systems. He says he has had an amazing experience at KIU.

“My experience as a student in such an international environment was amazing. I learnt and experienced many things. I was able to network with people from different backgrounds and nationalities. The learning environment was conducive, facilities including library materials in hard copy and electronic copies were adequate as well as relevant and the staff was charming and supportive."

Hussein holds a Master of Science in Management Information from Mbarara University of Science and Technology, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Uganda Christian University, a Diploma in Records and Information Management from Uganda Management Institute.

In his PhD thesis, he explored the electronic health management information systems success assessment model for the greater Bushenyi Districts Uganda, a context of a Developing country.

Hussein is currently working with Kampala International University- Western Campus as the Assistant Lecturer in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
