Dr. Mutebi Joe Ojera is the Director of Academic Affairs at Kampala International University and an accomplished Information Systems scholar with over 17 years of experience in higher education, research, consultancy, and ICT leadership. He provides strategic leadership in academic planning, curriculum development, quality assurance, and institutional innovation to enhance teaching excellence and student success.

Throughout his career, Dr. Mutebi has served in several senior academic leadership positions, including Dean, Associate Dean, and Head of Department. He has played a key role in developing academic programmes, strengthening institutional governance, and championing the integration of digital technologies in higher education.

His research focuses on Digital Transformation, Generative and Agentic Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, and emerging technologies. He has published widely on ICT integration, digital governance, and academic integrity, contributing to the advancement of technology-enabled education.

An experienced researcher and mentor, Dr. Mutebi has supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate students, providing guidance in research design, academic writing, scientific publishing, and research ethics.
