The Directorate of Research and Innovations hereby invites all staff and graduate students of the university, for a one-day intensive Research Seminar tagged “Enhancement of Research at Kampala International University”. 

The event, which will feature Dr. Peter Samuels, a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Strategy, Management and Marketing, Faculty of Business, Law, and Social Sciences, Birmingham City University, in the United Kingdom, as the principal speaker, is due to take place from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, on Tuesday 3rd December 2019, in the Senate Board room (IBML), at the university main campus in Kansanga-Ggaba Road, Kampala.

During the training, Dr. Peter will deliver talks on selected research areas including but not limited to writing for publication, proposal writing, viva-voce preparation cum presentation, and research methods.

Dr. Peter Samuels holds a PhD in Mathematics among other qualifications. He is as an academic developer who is passionate about developing students and staff into competent academics. His main areas of expertise are quantitative research methods, mathematics education, using technology and academic writing. With his extensive experience of academic speaking and writing, Dr. Peter currently provides lectures and workshops to both small and large audiences.
