HESFB Expands Services to Digital Mobile Platforms

KIU, Western Campus – The Higher Education Students Financing Board (HESFB) has expanded its services to include digital media platforms in a bid to make access to its services easier.

In a communication from the Communications Officer for HESFB, Bob Nuwagira, the students financing board has opened a WhatsApp number and also made payment for the loan scheme available on airtel money.

To pay for the loan installment, one should;

1.     Dial *185#
2.    Select Pay Bill
3.    Select option 9 (others)
4.    Enter business number, which is 1238512
5.    Enter amount of loan installment
6.    Enter reference (HESFB number/beneficiaries full name)
7.    Enter mobile money PIN

Meanwhile HESFB has also put up a WhatsApp number where students can send messages and have their queries sorted inno time.
