KIU, Main Campus - The International Moot Competition organized in Pune City in Western Indian State of Maharashtra at Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, and previously scheduled for 20th March 2020, has been postponed due to the rapid spread of the COVID-19 (Corona Virus) pandemic.

The moot was organized to expose the talent of participants from different competitions and build confidence and self esteem among them.

However, due to the COVID-19 (Corona Virus) pandemic and its first spreading effects, this event has been postponed.

Najia Nakimuli, one of the selected students from Kampala International University pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Law, has had her dream of traveling and participating in an international moot competition almost shuttered.

"For now all I am doing is reading and catching up with the rest during the quarantine period. To me, it was too painful that the international moot was cancelled since I had a lot of expectations from it," she said.

There is some hope, however, as the organizers have assured the competitors that the international moot  will be rescheduled.
