Discussions centered on potential areas of partnership, including staff and student mobility, joint research initiatives, post-doctoral programmes, academic grants, and collaborative events such as conferences, symposiums, and exhibitions.
Prof. Regina Ejemot Nwadiaro, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research, Innovations, Consultancy and Extensions (RICE), highlighted KIU’s emerging strengths in research, particularly in Biomedical Sciences, Oncology, and Genetology. She also pointed to advancements in Engineering, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation, underscoring the university’s commitment to bridging academia and industry through technology transfer.
