KIU, Main Campus - On 13th March 2020, representatives from Kampala International University (KIU) attended a dialogue held at Imperial Royale Hotel Kampala, to discuss the prevention of the deadly Corona Virus Pandemic (CoViD-19) from entering into the country.

The dialogue was organized by the Makerere School of Public Health, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Ministry of Health.

The objective of the dialogue was to broadly share and expound on measures that the country has put in place, and what individuals and organizations are required to do in order to prevent the Corona Virus Pandemic from spreading in Uganda.

KIU was represented by the staff from the Directorate of Research, Innovations, Consultancy and Extension including the Deputy Director Julius Matsiko (PhD), Balyejusa Agustine, and Aloyo Susan.

While at the Dialogue, the general public had the opportunity to interact with officials from the Ministry of Health, World Health Organization, and other health partners about the interventions that are currently being implemented to contain the (CoViD-19) pandemic.
