KIU, Main Campus - As the date, 23rd March, 2020, for the CATs (Regular Assessment tests) draws closer, Agnes F. N Lumala, the  Director of Academic Affairs, has strongly cautioned students against exam malpractice.

The tests will run from 23rd March to 29th March 2020, for all colleges.

The Director of Academic Affairs also went on to remind students, to follow academic rules and regulations.

"Students should pay attention to the following academic rules and regulations; first, attending classes without authorization is an offence and second, late registration will attract a late penalty fee along with the normal fee, therefore complete registration before the deadline for late registration," Lumala said.

Therefore as students prepare for the cultural gala competition this Saturday, they are reminded to also read for their up coming tests so as to not only excel in the co-curricular activities, but also in their studies.

The goal is to maintain excellence in character and in learning. Through this, the campus will be one step closer to achieving her vision of becoming "a premier institute of international repute that prepares students for the world of work and an inclusive society."
