KIU INTERNATIONAL DESK: Russia Planning on Mass Vaccination as Early as October

KIU Main Campus - According to the Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko, Russia is planning to carry out a mass vaccination campaign against Coronavirus in October this year.�

The vaccination will be free of charge, and the minister added that, c��?we plan wider vaccination for October because we need to launch a new system of treatment gradually.c⬝

Clinical trials of a Coronavirus vaccine developed by the Gamaleya Scientific Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology were concluded according to Murashko.�

During late July, the Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin intimated that they were hopeful that Russia is to produce a reliable vaccine against the Coronavirus by fall.�

As of last weekend, Russia had already registered over 845,000 COVID-19 cases.
