KIU, Main Campus-KIU Rangers will be looking to begin from where they stopped last season when they play Angels in their first game of the season at the MTN Arena in Lugogo this evening. The game will kick off at 6:30 PM EAT.

The Rangers had their last training on Tuesday evening and all the girls looked lively and in the right mood to renew the hunt for NBL glory.

Rangers that did not play in the curtain raiser tournament on women's day are all ready for selection tonight apart from Perus Nyamwenge who is not on today's final 12 according to the KIU basketball website.

Star guard and Captain Ninette Uwineza and Ines Kanyamuneza have been included on Roger Serunyigo's squad for Wednesday night.

Other players on the list include; Fildauce Namuleme, Diana Letaru, Brenda Ayera, and Sharon Kirabo among others.

The Rangers were outsmarted by UCU lady Canons in the NBL Women's  Semifinals last season and are focused on leaving all that to history.

Tonight's encounter is one that the Rangers must win to bring at least some smiles to the KIU basketball fraternity who are still contemplating the KIU Titans' poor start on Sunday night.
