KIU Titans displayed another remarkable display to beat Jaguars 82-56 at Lugogo Indoor Arena on Sunday.

This Victory made it six consecutive wins in as many games of the second round of the 2024 National Basketball League for the high-flying Titans.

KIU Titans who had scored 50 or more points by halftime in their previous two games were met with resilience from the Jaguars and it ended 31-46 at halftime in favour of the Titans.

The second half began slowly but with more physicality from both teams as they got their defenses busier than the offense to see the third quarter end with each side scoring 12 points.

The fourth quarter was reminiscent of the first half as the game became more athletic again and shots too began to rain. This saw the Titans stretch the lead to close off the game.

It was a blazing night for new signing Zuri Campbell who scored the game's second-highest 18 points as he led the Titans in scoring, followed by Pierre Kasereka Tembo with 16, Joel Lukoji Banza, with 12  and Peter Obleng with 11 points.

The league's lead assist maker, Joel Banza was voted player of the game as he also registered six rebounds and the game's highest seven rebounds.

Juf Mpiya added a double of 10, Stanley Mugerwa made seven while Edgar Munaba finished with nine points, five rebounds and one assist.

The result saw KIU Titans maintain second place on the NBL-Men's table below Namuwongo Blazers who have played a game more.
