KIU Titans, Rangers Begin NBL Play-offs With Victory

KIU, Main Campus-In an electrifying weekend for KIU basketball, both the KIU Titans and KIU Rangers set the National Basketball League Play-offs ablaze with thrilling victories.

The crowd roared as the Titans fought their way to an 88-83 victory over the formidable KCCA Panthers, setting the stage for a remarkable day of basketball.

The Titans' shining star, Amisi Saidi Danny, known as Carmelo, delivered an unforgettable performance, earning himself the well-deserved medal of "Man of the Game."

Meanwhile, on a flawless note, Mary Moses Amaniyo and Perus Nyamwenge joined forces to ignite the KIU Rangers, propelling them to a crucial 66-58 win against the Miracle Ravens.

These initial victories have ignited the flames of anticipation among fans, as both KIU Titans and KIU Rangers are just one win away from securing their spots in the semifinals.

The Rangers are set to face off against the Miracle Ravens once more on Wednesday evening, with the tantalizing prospect of a semifinal clash against the victor of the JT Lady Jaguars and Magic Stormers showdown.

The Titans, on the other hand, will return to the court on Saturday afternoon with their eyes on the prize. A victory will catapult them into the semifinals, where they await the winner of the duel between the UCU Canons and D-Mark Power.
