KIU, Western Campus – KIU Western Campus beginning students from different schools have begun the registration exercise for library services. This follows the orientation exercise which was carried out on November 26.

The first phase of the exercise, which also started yesterday, November 26  will go up to Thursday, December 3 and it involves the students registering for and acquiring their library cards, which they will use over the course of their academic life at KIU Western Campus. After that, registration will be continuous.

According to the campus Librarian Hassans Amwiine (in the picture), the freshers will among other library services like gaining entrance to the library, reading newspapers and having access to the library’s internet, also have access to the library’s e-books.

Amwiine was happy with the students’ turn-up for the orientation and registration exercises.

“The turn up was really good because everyone who has registered with the Admissions office so far has also registered with the library,” he said

“That is why for today’s exercise (November 28), we had already finished registering students by 4:00 PM,” he added.
