KIU Holds Orientation for August Intake Postgraduate Students

KIU, Western Campus – The KIU Western Campus Department of Publication and Extension will hold faculty sensitization on research and publication beginning on Monday January 22.
The communication was made in an invite to the different Faculties from the Deputy Director Research Dr. Paul-Chima Ugwu Okechukwu.
“You are cordially invited, along with Faculty members and staff, to participate in an interactive Faculty sensitization session on Research and Publication at PG boardroom,” reads the invite from Dr. Okechukwu.
The invitation was extended to the Schools of Pharmacy and Nursing on January 22, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences on January 23, School of Allied Health Sciences and Faculty of Science and Technology on January 24, Faculty of Education and Clinical Medicine and Dentistry on January 25 plus the Faculties of Biomedical Sciences and Business and Management on January 26.
The agenda for the event includes presentations from the Deputy Vice Chancellor KIU Western Campus, and the Assistant Deputy Vice-Chancellors as well as a presentation titled “Sustaining Academic Standards Through Publication” by Dr. Okechukwu.
This will be followed by “Different Types of Journal Publications and Academic Quality Journal Writing” by Dr. Emmanuel Obeagu plus “Academic Journal Visibilities” by Eng. Dr. Udoka Valentine Eze.
