In continuation of the orientation that started yesterday,10th February 2020, first-year students of the January 2020 intake were today taken through library orientation and training at the Iddi Basajjabalaba Memorial Library (IBML) at the Kampala International University premises.
The objective of this training was to familiarize the new KIU students with the IBML role, procedures and services as well as train them on information search techniques.

“Information is power and an essential ingredient in decision making. So read not only to pass your exams but also to add value to your life in general,” said Agatha Neema, a librarian at IBML.

The incoming students were urged to take advantage of all services offered at the university library such as wireless internet, newspapers, e-resources, research techniques, photocopying, printing and scanning services.
