KIU, Main Campus-10 students have been officially confirmed as bonafide members of the Rotaract club of KIU to bring the club's total capacity to 33 members.

The new members were confirmed during an induction ceremony that took place in Muyenga at Rotarian Paul Muhimbura's home where the club was attending a home hospitality on Saturday 18th March 2023.

Club President, Mildred Kwagala said she was extremely happy with the development in numbers.

"I am very happy that we have reached this milestone and actually this is part of the things I really wanted to achieve during my term," she told KIU Giraffe times.

Saturday was a busy day for the rotaractors who also had joined counterparts from the Rotary Club of Muyenga Tankhill for a medical camp in Kikubamutwe zone in Kabalagala, Makindye East division.

"We had so many activities in the week and the good thing is that all have been successful," Visionary President Kwagala said.

While at the home hospitality, the Rotaract club of KIU received praise from their mother club, the Rotary Club of Muyenga who said that the young boys and girls had surprised them. They hailed the team's undisputable level of organization and discipline.

The Rotarians left the venue when they were convinced that there was a need to have the rotaractors on board in order to nurture them into future Rotarians for they had displayed their potential with dexterity.
