KIU, Main Campus - On Saturday, May 15th, Princess Ruth Komuntale of Tooro Kingdom and her new husband Phil Anthony exchanged vows in Texas to seal their marriage.

Escorted by her brother the King of Tooro Rukirabasaija Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV and the Queen Mother Best Kemigisa, Her Royal Highness Komuntale walked down the aisle for the second time for her second shot at marriage.

The second marriage comes after her first failed marriage in 2013 with American Christopher Thomas who was described as a wrong person after the couple broke up just a year after their lavish royal wedding ceremony in 2012.

Her Royal Highness considers this wedding to be her second chance at not only finding love but also finding a best friend in her now Jamaican Deejay and IT Engineer husband Anthony.

“I thank God for not only blessing the work of my hands but for also blessing me with a second chance at marriage with an amazing man who is after God’s own heart,” she stated partly during her speech at the wedding.

As Ugandans sent in their congratulatory messages on social media, they could not stop talking about the classic dance moves of King Oyo as he danced to a rap song with his sister at the wedding, something that excited guests.
