KIU, Main Campus - Kampala International University (KIU), on 18 February 2021, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), with Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT), Changa, Gujarat, India.

The MoU, signed on behalf of KIU by the Vice Chancellor, Dr. Mouhamad Mpezamihigo, aims at exploring possible areas of research collaboration and scholarly exchange among their students, faculty members, departments and research institutes.

The MoU covers areas such as joint research activities, exchange of academic materials and academic publications, exchange of faculty members for research, lectures and discussions and exchange of students for study and research.

Specific areas of common interest for this collaboration will include Basic Sciences, Engineering Technology, Medicine, and Business and Management Studies.
