KIU Titans Aim to finish Regular Season with Maximum Tempo

By Isaac Akugizibwe

KIU Main Campus-KIU Titans will play Our Saviour basketball club, in their last game of the regular season on Saturday with nothing more to lose other than prestige. And according to coach Raymond Muhumuza the Titans cannot afford to create room for error.

The Titans have won all their last six games, scoring an average of above 75 points per game, a performance that has left them third on the NBL men's ladder and Victory on Saturday could see them end in the second place.

Henry Okoth and Muhammad Abdikani are now fully fit and so is the rest of the squad. In a pre-match brief, Titans Coach Raymond Muhumuza said that his boys are in good mood and will approach tomorrow's encounter with full focus.

"We will approach this game with full focus and commitment just as we have done all season," Mr.Muhumuza said.

"There is always a lot to take out from any game, especially at such a critical moment in the Season where there is less room for error," he added.

The heights explorers will once more carry their fortunes on the shoulders of their high-flying stars, Edgar Munaba, Ahmed Kassa, Joseph Chuma, Fidel Okoth Odour, Isaiah Mabeny Ater, Henry Kisseka, and Josep Joseph Dramaza among others.

KIU Titans have been so impressive in recent weeks and will surely end the regular season in style if they beat Our Saviour basketball club tomorrow.
