KIU, Main Campus – As it dawns on the morning of Saturday, June 11, just a few hours to the start of KIU’s 25th Graduation Ceremony, Mohamed Hassan Sirat will be comfortable in the knowledge that he is leaving KIU a better problem solver, the Master of Project Planning and Management graduand-to-be has told this website.

“I intend to use the knowledge I acquired from KIU to solve social problems at large, particularly project-related problems including project mismanagement, project failures due to lack of accountability, poor project planning and so on<” Sirat said in a cordial tete-a-tete.

“It makes me feel so happy to know that I am finally going to get my Master’s Degree, which was the main reason I came to Uganda,” he added.

He says KIU took his knowledge to another level as it made him academically strong, enabled him to be able to make the right decisions and solve problems.

He says it also exposed him to different cultures, norms and beliefs since it is a multi-cultured university which hosts students from diverse nationalities and he takes time to recommend everyone looking for a better education to come to KIU.

“KIU is the best choice for everyone who wants to acquire quality and modern knowledge.  It’s also chartered and the leading private university in Uganda,” he says.

He reminds fellow graduands that they have been invested in to cause positive change in their communities, urging them to use the knowledge wisely to enhance the lives of their respective communities and countries at large.
Sirat goes ahead to give his thanks.

“First of all, I thank Almighty Allah who gave me the health and energy to reach this level. I secondly thank my parents and siblings for the constant support, and I cannot fail to thank my supervisor, lecturers, classmates and the administration of KIU,”

Congratulations Sirat upon this milestone and we wish you the best in your future endeavours!
