Master of Arts in English

The overriding objective of this programme is to train men and women who will be able to theoretically and professionally solve intra-and inter-societal language-related problems in the light of the educational, official, occupational, interpersonal and creative functions assignable to English as a Second Language.

1. To expose students to advanced study of English language development and acquisition.
2. To prepare graduates to meet the challenges in both intra-and inter-societal language-related problems in light of English education.
3. To offer students an opportunity to obtain advanced training in fields related to being English linguists and trainers.
