PhD in Development Studies

The admission requirements for this course are based on KIU’s admission policy.  At a minimum, applicants to the programme should possess proficiency in English and a Master’s degree or its equivalent in either Development Studies or a related discipline. There are four alternative modes of study into which applicants can seek enrolment as follows:

• Full-Time Day enrolled students (regular programme): who shall attend classes between 8.00 am and 5.00 pm from Monday to Friday.
• Part-time Evening enrolled students: who shall attend classes between 5.00 pm and 10.00 pm from Monday to Friday.
• Part-time Weekend enrolled students: who shall attend classes between 5.00 pm and 10.00 pm on Friday, and 7.00am to 8.00 pm on Saturdays and Sunday.
