About the Programme
The Master of Science Degree in Environmental Management at Kampala International University is a two-year intensive academic programme that combines theoretical and practical methods.
Content is delivered to students through lectures, tutorials, projects, documentaries, individual and group presentations.
As the demand for experts in various fields of the environment profession is increasing in Uganda, advanced skills are required in energy, health care, community development, social works and other environmental sectors.
Thus, this programme targets people who need to do graduate-level research and those who wish to advance their knowledge in the respective environmental fields.
The programme is generally intended for qualified bachelors and their equivalent educational recognized qualifications and wish to gain qualifications in a wide range of educational contexts or upgrade their expertise.
The minimum duration of the Master of Science in Environmental Management shall be two (2) years while the maximum shall be four (4) academic years.
